Roger is a leading commercial property specialist with over 35 years’ experience advising on complex transactions for major corporate and commercial clients.
Roger’s work principally involves the acquisition of green and brown field sites for development for a mixture of retail, industrial and commercial sites. Roger also has extensive experience of landlord and tenant matters, joint venture building contracts and other matters related to heavyweight commercial property work.
Some of Roger’s transactions include the acquisition and funding of the Old Billingsgate Fish Market site; the acquisition of South Quay Plaza in the Docklands including arranging the finance for Phase 3 of the development to a consortium led by a bank for over £40m.
Abhishek started with the firm as a trainee in 2001 and became a partner in 2007.
Abhishek specialises in dispute resolution and litigation. He has dealt with very high profile cases including a case for a leading storage company in the UK. More recently he acted against a firm of solicitors in the UK whose principal was struck off following a ruling in the High Court and a claim in excess of £3m to the Solicitors Regulation Authority Compensation Fund.
He has also acted for numerous landlords in evicting tenants and advised on property litigation matters. Further he advises on leases and licences to assign and sales where he is retained by numerous buildings in the W1 and W2 areas.
Abhishek has very strong connections with the Indian diaspora in the UK and as well as major companies based in India.
He also acts for several Indian and Dubai based consortiums who have started investing actively in the UK
Jonathan is a residential and commercial property specialist acting for a wide range of clients.
Jonathan regularly acts on high value transactions for both British and overseas clients. He also act for investors in the purchase, refurbishment and sales of residential properties on a regular basis. On the commercial front, Jonathan acts for developers of residential properties in London and commercial property investors who develop large commercial sites throughout the UK. Jonathan also undertakes all manner of landlord and tenant transactions, mortgage work and property litigation.
Some of Jonathan’s transactions include the acquisition of high value residential property for HNWI in Knightsbridge, Kensington and Hampstead; Acquisition of two sites at Luton Airport and subsequent planning permission; acting for the major landowner in relation to a three week public enquiry into a road bypass scheme in Buckinghamshire where client’s objections were successfully upheld; and acting for a public quoted company in whether a Lease could be re-assigned to it so as to enable a personal break clause to be enforced, a case which went to the Court of Appeal.
Daniel’s practice spans several practice areas, focussing on multi-jurisdictional dispute resolution and commercial transactions. He has acted for wide range of corporate, family office and private clients from a wide variety of jurisdictions.
Some of Daniel’s matters include acting alongside leading counsel in successfully defending a high value fraud action in the High Court, acting for a software company with a turnover of $50m who restructured their operations from Cyprus to the UK, and leading a successful action against an international energy company commencing actions in several jurisdictions, together with assisting numerous Russian and CIS companies with domestic and international commercial transactions.
Daniel’s practice also covers acting for individuals from Russia, Ukraine and the CIS in personal matters including advising on their personal structures and wealth management, family disputes, immigration and investments into the UK.
